Paloma is a fifth grade star goalie, a best friend, a daughter, and a big sister. As a new school year begins, difficult feelings start to creep up on Paloma, making her feel separate from her loving family. She wants to feel free again - free to enjoy hanging out with her friends and playing goalie on her soccer team.
