Morningside Center’s free virtual workshop is an invitation to school leaders to start the 2025-2026 school year in connection with your community in a skillfully facilitated and co-created space of presence, belonging and joy. Participants will experience and engage in an array of concrete, time-efficient activities centered on active listening, authentic sharing and communal care to be easily implemented in your own school communities. At its heart, this workshop is intentional time for school leaders to be in community with each other—to be seen, heard and reminded that we all belong to a community of peers. Evidence shows that the highest quality teaching and learning emanate from authentically positive relationships: schools where staff and students acquire the intellectual, emotional and relational skills required to thrive and learn.
