SEL Bulletin Board Contest

Morningside is celebrating teachers’ creative bulletin boards on social and emotional learning with a contest on Twitter and Instagram from October 15th-22nd!

Rules

Contest description:

This contest is an exciting opportunity for teachers to win prizes for their hard work and classroom creativity in fostering students’ social and emotional learning (SEL).  Teachers, please tag pictures of your SEL-themed classroom bulletin board using the hashtag #MorningsideSEL on either Instagram or Twitter.  Bulletin boards don’t have to feature our programs – they can be about community agreements, feelings, conflict resolution, or any other SEL-related theme.  The winner will be posted on our website and the teacher will receive an email with their egift card. It's just that easy!

Prizes:

10 winners will be chosen by our selection committee.

  • First prize: one $150 egift card from an office supply company
  • Second prize: one $100 egift card from an office supply company
  • Third prize: one $50 egift card from an office supply company
  • Fourth prize: seven winners will receive one Morningside Center "Teach for Joy & Justice" tote bag

Eligibility:

Any preK-12 educator may enter the contest by sharing on Twitter or Instagram a photo of their classroom bulletin board with an SEL theme, using the hashtag #MorningsideSEL.  Each bulletin board must be nominated through a valid Instagram or Twitter account, during the submission period.  To receive prizes, entrants must live in the U.S. and have a valid email address to receive their egift card. Morningside Center staff and board members are not eligible to participate in the contest.
