Morningside Center is seeking a Data Processing Coordinator to support the the Contracts Manager and the Director of Program Operations.

Job Title: Data Processing Coordinator

100% Remote Work - Full Time Temporary to Permanent Position

 


Description:

The Data Processing Coordinator supports the Contracts Manager and the Director of Program Operations. A successful Data Processing Coordinator will have strong written, verbal and virtual communication skills, administrative and organizational skills, comfort in maintaining a realistic balance among competing priorities, eagerness and skill in doing quality control over form submissions and making sure the correct digital forms are being organized and saved for audit purposes.

Seventy five percent of the role is dedicated to reviewing 2 google trackers and twenty five percent of the role is external facing which is following up with Per Diem Staff to ensure corrections are being made with google tracker forms.

 


Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control over hundreds of google tracker forms, do follow up of missing information and keep organized notes to make sure that google forms can be submitted for reimbursement
  • Reviews the submission of Staff Developer forms, ensuring each document has signatures and correct information to ensure the organization will be reimbursed within prescribed timelines.
  • Communicate with various departments virtually, external office of the NYC Department of Education and Per Diem Staff
  • Ensure paper work required for audits is organized for auditing purposes, including a google tracker which includes a log of activity and an agenda.
  • Coordinate with Per Diem Staff and make sure that proper paperwork is completed before submissions are finalized.
  • Attend routine staff meetings with organization and department.
  • Support Operations and HR departments to ensure that trackers are finalized

 


Qualifications:

  • Some College Preferred
  • One to three years experience or interest in
    • Managing and navigating google docs and spreadsheets, and forms in a shared drive
    • Reviewing google documents, tracking and reviewing paperwork used to seek reimbursement
    • Organizing digital files to that memorializes the activity of Per Diem Staff in schools
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect an ability to respond promptly and accurately to multiple tasks with professionalism
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Zoom, Teams, and capacity to learn new programs and systems
  • Problem-solver who seeks new opportunities and proposes solutions to problems that arise
  • Attention to detail; fast learner
  • Self-awareness and emotional intelligence

Salary & Benefits: 

Full time Temporary to Permanent Position

If full time, $40,000-$50,000, commensurate with experience. Competitive Health, Dental, and Vision benefits, generous vacation policy, and 403b retirement plan.
