with the New York City Department of Education, private funds are essential
to our success. Private funds enable us to identify and respond to emerging
needs in the schools; develop
and run cutting-edge programs not supported by public funds; write new
curricula; provide internal professional development to keep our staff
at the top of their field; and
support the infrastructure that makes all our work possible.
