Workshop: Educating for Racial Equity in Our Schools
Join us in either July or August to identify and practice strategies for interrupting racism in our schools.
Come join us for a 3-day workshop.
In this engaging, interactive workshop series, we’ll use a restorative circles format to share our backgrounds and personal experiences. Then we’ll explore together how systemic racism operates in our schools to diminish the opportunities and outcomes for black and brown children.
We'll learn practical skills to help make our classrooms and schools more equitable and productive, using our social and emotional skills to identify and practice strategies for interrupting racism. And over time, we'll forge powerful bonds with each other, creating a network of support, resources, and a pool of wisdom to draw on long after the workshop ends.
