The Montgomery County, Maryland, public schools wanted to introduce teachers to social and emotional learning strategies - so they called on Morningside Center's executive director, Tom Roderick.
In his workshop with teachers on August 20, Tom pulled out a few SEL "nuggets" from our decades of work in the schools - practical strategies teachers can use to build classroom community and students' SEL skills.
